Toolking.com, a premier Internet tool retailer that is powered by Magento, just released their customized mCommerce iPhone app built with Magento Mobile, the first native mCommerce platform for iPhone.
By launching their free iPhone app has expanded the multi-channel experience for their users by utilizing both Magento Enterprise and Magento Mobile platforms. Based on industry trends, by 2011, 1 in 4 mobile users will purchase an item on their phone, making mCommerce a “mainstream activity”. It is also estimated, by 2012, mobile internet usage will surpass PC internet usage.
Toolking.com, an Internet Retailer 500 company, was founded 1978 in Denver, Colorado, as a small retail store, selling hammers and power tools to craftsmen and do-it-yourselfers. Within five years, after realizing the high demand for such products, Tool King opened a chain of stores throughout Colorado and was recognized as an Inc 500 Company.
